Too bad about Aura. I mean, yeah, it did deserved a nerf, but not so much. At least activation time is same...phew.
Pious might be worth taking now.
I'm glad about Fear Me. Totally deserved. Let's hope this will reduce the number of IWAY groups in HA (which is at 6849898646543 and counting).

Monks are designed to be able to cope with attacks from 3 or so poeple alone, they are not really balenced to a 1v1 level.

Yes, ANet are going to nerf it because someone pointed out it's a melee attack, not a scythe attack. I'm sure ANet didn't know. :\

Aura can only be cast on another target, so this nerf doesn't affect killing a monk solo at all. Besides that, GW is a team game, not a 1v1 game.

SO the VOD changes are ridiculous. I was watching Obs the Guild lord walked into NPCS around 22 minutes and took about 400+ dmg from each archer, died in about 3 seconds.

I know, I'd probably cry if it was nerfed but it seems too strong at regenerating energy and maintaining high energy levels. Compare it with [skill]mantra of recall[/skill] which gives a return of 12 energy every 20 seconds at 12 Inspiration Magic.
Mind Blast combined with Fire Attunement grants (-5)+7+2=4 energy every 2 seconds which is up to 40 energy in a 20 second time-span at 12 Fire Magic. It also has some damage added on to it for good measure.
If my numbers were correct, then that's why I feel Mind Blast is so strong. Even if my numbers are wrong, I do know for sure that I can spam Rodgort's Invocation on recharge.

You'll probably still see IWAY teams. Steady Stance and Fear Me! have the same recharge so it just means they Fear Me! slightly less. There is still that whole thing about warrior DPS to worry about. Just kill Steady Stance, something along the lines of "the next time you would be knocked down while not performing an action" would do it.
